Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

We promote research collaboration in the fields of electrical engineering, electronic engineering, computer science and information systems to pursue new technological innovation.

The fields of electrical engineering, electronic engineering, computer science and information systems are important keys for developing and sustaining our society.
Close collaboration in these fields also brings about active technological innovation involving new fields of technology. To educate students who have broad and deep knowledge in these areas, we provide two educational programs: "Electrical and Electronic Engineering" and "Computer and Information Science".

Electronic Devices Engineering

We offer courses on semiconductors that constitute the foundation of electronics, electronic materials such as magnetic materials, and applied electronic devices.

Electronic Systems Engineering

Based on measurement control, signal processing, and communication engineering, we offer courses on electronic equipment and applied electronics systems.

Electricity and Energy Engineering

In addition to electrophysical phenomena such as plasma and intense electric fields, we offer courses on the theory and technology of electrical energy.

Program of Computer and Information Science

Computer Network Engineering

We offer courses on communications and network systems as well as computer hardware and basic software.

Intelligent Information Processing Systems Engineering

We offer courses on advanced intelligent information processing systems such as artificial intelligence and pattern information processing systems, including audio and video processing.

Media Systems Engineering

We offer courses on media technology and interactive systems required to establish safe, secure, and universal communication systems.
