Future Careers

We seek to have all graduates acquire solid practical ability and be able to work widely in mechanical engineering fields internationally as well as domestically.
To that end, in addition to basic professional education in mechanical engineering, we actively incorporate educational areas such as the environment, energy, the humanities, and social sciences, to nurture a well-rounded personality and overall decision-making ability.
Furthermore, whether reducing both environmental impact and production costs, or balancing the optimization, intelligence, integration, and universality of a mechanical system, in the field of mechanical engineering it is often necessary to balance a variety of conflicting requirements at the same time. We aim to train mechanical engineers who can respond with flexibility to such situations.

Available Qualifications

National examinations and qualification tests that may be taken by graduates
  • Boiler Engineer (2nd Level) (exam qualification)
  • Chief Boiler and Turbine Engineer (2nd Grade) (work experience required)
  • Automobile Mechanic (3rd Level) (exam qualification: work experience required)
  • Fire Defense Equipment Officer (exam qualification)
  • Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Technician/Engineer, 1st Grade (exam qualification: work experience required)
  • Construction Machine Operation Engineer (Level 2) (exam qualification: work experience required)
Teaching licenses that may be acquired by graduates
  • High School Teacher License, 1st Grade (Mathematics, Industrial Arts)

Expected fields of employment

Graduates are expected to find work in the automotive industry, aviation-related industries, power companies, plant systems, the robotics industry, manufacturing equipment systems, the information industry, and so on.
