Introduction to the Graduate School of Engineering

Master's Programs

The Graduate School of Engineering consists of seven programs: five of these programs aim to provide consistent education and research through the Faculty of Engineering and the Graduate School of Engineering, whereas, in the other two programs, "Design and Media Technology" aims to foster human resources specialized in a field that integrates the humanities and science, and "Die-Mold, and Casting Engineering" to foster human resources for highly specialized product manufacturing.

We foster human resources who can play a role in establishing the basis for chemical technology suitable for a human-friendly and environmentally friendly 21st century.

Frontier Materials and Function Engineering Frontier Materials and Function Engineering

We offer courses and research, focusing on the three interdisciplinary fields of materials creation, energy science, and environmental recycling.

Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

We cultivate extensive basic professional skills and product manufacturing skills in the fields of electrical, electronic, communications, and information engineering.

We offer an extensive range of courses and research on mechanical systems, aiming to foster human resources who can actively play a role in promoting product manufacturing for the 21st century.

We work on establishing safe and secure social infrastructure, aiming to foster construction engineers who are skilled in social and environmental infrastructure.

We strive to foster human resources who can contribute to the establishment of a human-friendly environment and a cultured living environment.

Die-Mold and Casting Engineering Die-Mold and Casting Engineering

We foster advanced Die-Mold and casting expert engineers who know the theory and practice of production processes and have good managerial abilities.

Doctoral Programs

After the Master's Program, the core of professional education, we provide four Doctoral Programs. Through the advanced programs, we foster researchers and university teaching staff who are rich in creativity, excellent in research and development, and capable of playing a leading role in any research institution in industry, academia, or government.
