Summary My research is centered on interfaces between organic and inorganic nanomaterials from kinetic and thermodynamic viewpoints, based on which novel optical-electronic materials are studied and process development is conducted. I also design and prepare, from an evolutionary engineering standpoint, various molecular forms with a nano-interface recognition organic compound as their structural unit, control the nanostructure in the growth of the crystal face of the material, introduce functional organic molecules into nanocrystal grains in a high throughput manner, and provide proposals for application of the molecular design engineering appropriate to each nanocrystal material. I believe that my research efforts contribute to building an environmental friendly society and raising people’s awareness of relevant issues.
