Summary My current research efforts are mainly focused on harmonic distortion measurement methods for loudspeaker and nondestructive inspection methods for large structures. I have developed a harmonic distortion measurement method for loudspeaker that uses adaptive filters, is easy to apply, and yields results within a short measurement time. I am continuing my research to develop more methods that provide accurate measurements under various measurement conditions. A particular focus in developing nondestructive inspection methods for large structures is on methods that allow measurement of abnormalities in the inside around the surface of a structure, for instance, an exterior wall and pillar damaged by termites, using a simple device and within a short period of time.
