Summary My research is to elucidate experimentally the nature of nucleus and elementary particles. I am developing the measurement techniques, particularly a new radiation detection technique, to investigate their interactions. The radiation measurement techniques are required not only in nuclear and particle physics but also in energy and environmental engineering, medical diagnosis, biology, and many other fields. I am also engaged in developing specific radiation detectors to meet the needs for these various applications.
