Summary Alchemy, which originated in the Middle Ages, formed the basis of modern science. In this modern age of advanced science and technology, we have the latest theories rather than books on alchemical magic to describe in detail the structure of electrons. We can also use ultrafast supercomputers. To manipulate cutting-edge theories and computers to study in detail the structures of atoms and electrons in order to create within computers new compounds that humans have never previously possessed—this is the goal we, “present-day high-tech alchemists” equipped with the latest scientific theories and computers, are aiming at.
