Summary Discharge plasma and high voltage engineering, which have produced electronic devices and allow energy conversion, contribute greatly to creating a ubiquitous society and environmentally friendly society. In recent years, they have been applied widely in fields ranging from healthcare, biotechnology, agriculture, and environmental conservation. Our laboratory is engaged in research into power source (pulsed power) technology to produce plasma suitable for a variety of applications and on application to environmental conservation, agriculture, food products, and materials. Our efforts are also directed towards providing energy and environmental education in cooperation with elementary schools and science museums for the future of the environment, communities and people of the Earth.
