Summary Efficient energy conversion contributes to reduction of environmental burden. Metal air battery and fuel cell can produce electricity theoretically with high efficiency. For ENE-FARM, residential fuel cell system, we succeed in preparing Pt-Ru catalyst with theoretically maximum alloying degree, which contributed to high energy efficiency. For Metal air battery, next generation battery of electric car, we succeed in charging and discharging with theoretical efficiency using RP-type perovskite, positive electrode catalyst.
